With a  constant need to write in order to comprehend the world, Ciara spent time honing her craft as stage persona ‘marblmoon’ leading to national success with singles ‘EUS’ and ’11:11’ that brought about the start to her dream-pop, ambient sound. Older now, with the glitter wiped away and a new image, Ciara’s new projects focus on the intrinsic, generational experience of a woman treading cautiously through her twenties.

Like a diary entry written in the foggy hills, her social-commentary song writing, insert-name-here style allows the listener to relate to carefully crafted lyrics in a safe space of ethereal & ambient sound.

Growing up in the folk scene of Cumbria, Ciara learned how to harmonise with the best, a small community that she still finds herself acquainted with. And later in her early teens an ‘emo phase’ gave her the right amount of angst to start writing her own songs about pop culture and her relationships at the time. ‘Marblmoon’ was created in 2018 and Ciara self-released her first EP ‘Glitter & Gold’ in 2019, this was followed by interviews and radio plays from BBC Introducing and a year of local and national gigs and festivals before the COVID19 pandemic.

Throughout lockdown Ciara worked on new material, and decided that a new sound required new branding. CIÆRA’s first single will be released soon.
